How many integers n with 1 ≤ n ≤ 100 are divisible by neither 2 nor 5?
Count and subtract. In 1–100: 50 are divisible by 2, 20 by 5, and 10 by both (the multiples of 10).
By inclusion–exclusion, 50 + 20 − 10 = 60 are divisible by 2 or 5 — so 100 − 60 = 40 are divisible by neither.
Answer: B — 40 ✓
